1. What's my first step?
Your first step is to carefully consider what size shed/barn you may be needing and how it will look on your property. Wood-Tex will help you walk through these steps, with over 24 years of experience behind us we can answer almost any question you may have. 2. What type of materials/hardware are used on my Shed or Barn?
This is a very important factor when considering purchasing a Shed or Barn! All sheds are NOT built alike! Wood-Tex uses only the most durable, longest lasting products on the market. 3. Is my Wood-Tex structure moveable?
Yes! If we delivered it to you fully assembled then we can certainly assist you in moving it, should you decide to relocate or simply sell your barn. Or if you simply want it moved to the other side of your yard or pasture we can help with that as well. Special permits are required for moving 10' wide buildings so you may want to contact us before doing such a move yourself.
4. Do I have to get my own permit?
Different towns vary in their requirements and stipulations about what size building you may put up before needing a permit. Some towns require you to get a permit no matter what size the structure is. Because of these varying requirements it is hard for us to give you concrete answers as to what may be required. The best thing is to contact your town and get answers directly from them. We can help you through the whole permit process, even supply drawings or plans if necessary.

6. Do you custom build?
Yes! We custom build to fill your exact needs and wants! You may choose from a variety of options for your shed or barn. See Shed Building Options or Horse Barn/Run-In Options. 7. Is my site accessible?
This can be a tough question at times. Do I have enough room between my house and my neighbors? Is my yard firm enough for the delivery truck? Can we get a cabin in that exact choice location? These are all valid and worthwile questions. It would be best to read about our delivery procedures on our Site Preparation and Delivery pages to get a feel for how it is done. We will assist you in making the decision as much as we possibly can as well. Pictures can be emailed to us and we can discuss the scenario over the phone. This usually gives us enough information to help make an educated decision about whether or not we can deliver the structure fully assembled.
8. Do you build on site?
Yes we do! If we cannot get the shed in fully assembled, we will come out and assemble it right on site. We do this at a marginal cost. Many sheds have been built this way down along the lake, in the woods, up a hill, across a wet area or simply because the structure was too big to haul down the road.

10. Do you build everything at Wood-Tex?

Wood-Tex is a family run business. We believe in honesty, integrity, hard work and complete customer satisfaction. We employ about 10-15 local Mennonites and skilled craftsman.
